We sell Windows 7, Windows 8.1 & Windows 10.    If you have a lot of very old software or hardware, you may want to select Windows 7 otherwise one of the newer operating systems will be a better choice.

We sell the mainstream versions of Windows 10, 8.1, & 7. There are a number of smaller differences between the versions, but the important features / differences are:

Windows 10 - Full featured version with all the interface, features, & security upgrades (Max Memory Support  - 128GB)

Windows 10 (Pro) - Professional adds the ability to join a domain based server network, in a large office type environment. (Max Memory Support - 2TB)

Windows 8.1 - Full featured version with the tiles interface, & security upgrades (Max Memory Support  - 128GB)

Windows 8.1 (Pro) - Professional adds the ability to join a domain based server network, in a large office type environment. (Max Memory Support - 512GB)

Windows 7 (Home Premium) - Legacy software for users of older programs or hardware, that may not be compatible with more modern versions of Windows (Max Memory Support - 16GB)

Windows 7 (Professional) - All the features of Windows 7 Home Premium but adds the ability to join a domain based server network, in a large office type environment. Also adds XP mode to allow you to run older software that may not have been written to fully match common software construction protocols (usually specialized older / smaller third party software). (Max Memory Support - 192GB)

Windows 7 (Ultimate) - * No Longer Available - BE VERY CAREFUL IF YOU SEE A COMPANY OFFERING WINDOWS 7 ULTIMATE FOR SALE - THESE VERSIONS NOW IN THE MARKET ARE VIRTUALLY ALWAYS FAKE COPIES AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY BE COMPROMISING ALL OF YOUR INFORMATION TO THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THESE FAKE VERSIONS.

When you buy Windows from us you will get the original Microsoft DVD, the original Microsoft license, booklet, & Microsoft packaging.

64Bit vs 32 Bit - We sell the 64-Bit version of Windows almost exclusively and we find virtually no reason to use the 32 bit version. Because we are selling you a new motherboard and CPU, the biggest possible hurdle for needing a 32 bit operating system has been overcome. We do offer the option to downgrade to the 32 bit version of Windows at the same price as the 64 bit at the time of purchase, but it is not something we recommend for virtually any customer. 64 Bit operating systems run either 32 bit or 64 bit software. To use more than 4GB of system memory, a 64-Bit operating system is required. If you have specialized computer controlled industrial hardware that runs applications that look like DOS screens and are attached via a 9 pin serial port you may be a candidate for 32 bit software as some of these applications have a very old type of hardware control.
